Disable specific features

Administrators can control organization-wide access to MindManager features in the MindManager Customer Admin Portal. When access to MindManager features and services is modified, changes are applied in 24 hours or the next time the end user restarts the application.

To disable access to MindManager Snap

MindManager Snap is a content-capturing tool that allows users to save and reuse content. If you disable MindManager Snap, licensed users lose access to their existing Snap content.

1 Sign in to your MindManager Customer Admin Portal.
2 Click Settings.
3 In the MindManager Snap area, uncheck the Allow MindManager Snap check box.
If you disable MindManager Snap, licensed users lose access to existing Snap content. Users receive an email notifying them of the deletion.
4 In the Warning dialog box, type Delete in the text field, and click Continue.

*

This setting applies to version 22.1 or later for MindManager Windows, MindManager Mac, MindManager for Microsoft Teams, MindManager Chromebook, and MindManager Web.

If your organization has not verified domains for single sign-on (SSO), disabling this feature prevents users from using it, but content already gathered by MindManager Snap will not be deleted. You should inform users in your organization to delete their Snap content before disabling. If you want to delete their Snap content, you must verify your email domains using the SSO setup process. For more information about SSO, see Single sign-on (SSO) setup.

To disable Co-Editing

1 Sign in to your MindManager Customer Admin Portal.
2 Click Settings.
3 In the Co-Editing area, uncheck the Allow Co-Editing check box.
This setting controls whether files with Co-Editing enabled are temporarily cached on MindManager servers to reduce how long it takes to open them. When this feature is enabled, these files are cached on MindManager servers for 30 days after editing. If a file isn't edited for 30 days, it is purged from MindManager servers. If you disable the Co-Editing feature, files are immediately purged from MindManager servers after being edited. This increases the time it takes to load files with Co-Editing enabled. This is not recommended.

*

This setting applies to version 22.1 or later for MindManager Windows, MindManager Mac, MindManager for Microsoft Teams, MindManager Chromebook, and MindManger Web.

When you disable Co-Editing, if a licensed user opens a map that is being used in a Co-Editing session, the user can only view the map as a read-only file.
